By placing an order at Storyteller, you warrant that you are at least 18 years old or have parents' permission to buy from us.
All personal information you provide us with or that we obtain will be handled by Storyteller as responsible for the personal information.
Events outside Storyteller’s control shall be considered force majeure.
The price applicable is that set at the date on which you place your order.
Shipping costs and payment fees are recognised before confirming the purchase.
Card information is transmitted over secure SSL encryption and is not stored.
Storyteller reserves the right to amend any information without prior notice.

This page contains the terms & conditions (“Terms”) from Storytellerr Ltd (“Storyteller”, “we” or “our”) regarding your use of our websites (found at www.storytellertravel.co.uk, “site”) or your purchase of our products (“Products”). Please read these terms & conditions carefully before ordering any products from us. You should understand that by using the site, ordering any of our Products you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By placing an order through the site, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old (or have parents' permission to buy from us) and accept these Terms, which shall apply to all orders placed or to be placed through the Sites for the sale and supply of any Products.
None of these terms and conditions affect your statutory rights. We reserve the right, in our discretion, to update or amend these Terms by posting through the site. No other terms or changes to these Terms shall be binding unless agreed in writing signed by us.
Restrictions
You are permitted to use the site solely to read content and purchase Products. You agree not to: (1) reverse assemble, reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive source code from the Services; (2) reproduce or prepare derivative works of the products (3) share, sell, rent or otherwise distribute Products; (4) interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Services or any third-party participation; (5) circumvent, disable or otherwise interfere with security features of the Services; or (6) distribute viruses or any other technologies that may harm Storyteller, its Services or any third party.
Payment
All Products remain Storytellers property until full payment is made. The price applicable is that set at the date on which you place your order. Shipping costs and payment fees are recognised before confirming the purchase. If you are under 18 years old you must have parents' permission to buy from Storyteller.
All transfers conducted through Storyteller are handled and transacted through third party dedicated gateways to guarantee your protection. Card information is not stored and all card information is handled over SSL encryption. Please read the terms and conditions for the payment gateway chosen for the transaction as they are responsible for the transactions made.
All payments must be made at the time of Confirmation. Payment for all Orders must be by credit or debit card. We accept payment credit or debit card payments via Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro and Paypal. If we are unable to accept or fulfil your Order for any reason then we will refund any money paid by you in respect of the Order. We will not dispatch the Product(s) until we receive payment in full.
For payment by card, all credit or debit cardholders and bank account holders respectively may be dependent on authorisation and authentication. If the issuer of your payment card or our service provider refuses to, or does not for any reason authorise or validate the payment, we will not be liable in these circumstances for any delay or non-delivery in respect of the Product(s) which you have ordered as a result.
Products
We make every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours, features, specifications, and details of the products available on the Services. However, we do not guarantee that the colours, features, specifications, and details of the Products will be accurate, complete, reliable, or free of other errors, and your electronic display may not accurately reflect the actual colours and details of the products. All Products are subject to availability, and we cannot guarantee that items will be in stock. We reserve the right to discontinue any Products at any time for any reason. Prices for all Products are subject to change. Storyteller reserves the right to cancel all or part of any purchase order by delivering notice to you; Storyteller shall not be liable to you in such event, other than to return or credit the purchase price.
Engraving
You do not have any right to (a) cancel your Contract for supply of, and/or (b) refund and/or (c) exchange any Product/s that have been engraved or otherwise made to your bespoke specifications (unless such Product/s were damaged, defective or faulty when delivered to you or have been incorrectly delivered).
Exchange and Returns Policy
Storyteller warrants to you that the Products meet their specifications and descriptions. If the Products delivered to you do not match this warranty, our sole obligation and your sole remedy is an exchange or refund within 30 days of your purchase. Please note that the Product must be returned unused, in original packaging including all tags. In case of refund neither the original shipping cost nor the return shipping cost will be repaid. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the Products while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, we may have a right to deduct the cost of any deterioration, up to the price of the Product(s), from the refund to which you are otherwise entitled.
Please note that purchases made through a third-party cannot be returned through Storytellertravel.co.uk. If your purchase was made in a third-party app or otherwise (for example through notonthehighstreet.co.uk), please return to the applicable app to start your return process.
If you cancel a Contract between us within a 3 day period we will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 14 days after the day on which we receive the Product(s) back or, if earlier, the day on which we receive evidence that you have returned the Product(s) to our returns address. We will refund the price of the Product(s) in full (except for any deduction we are entitled to make due to your use of, or damage to, the Product(s), or any unnecessary handling by you), including the cost of standard delivery. If you have selected a delivery method which is more expensive than the standard delivery method (the cheapest option), we will only refund you the amount of the standard delivery charge. All other cancellations and refunds are at our sole discretion.
We will refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase, unless agreed otherwise.
For exchanges, if the value of the new Product(s) exceeds the original value of the Product(s), you will be required to pay the difference. Should the value of the new Product(s) be lower than the original value, the difference will be credited to the credit or debit card originally used for the Orders
Shipping
Storyteller will determine the method of shipping products to you, at your expense. Storyteller will strive to deliver Products on the schedule requested, but is not liable to you or anyone else for late delivery.
Responsibility for Accurate Shipping Information: It is the customer's responsibility to provide a correct and complete shipping address when placing an order. The company is not liable for orders that are delayed or lost due to incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer.
Personal Information
All personal information you provide us with or that we obtain will be handled by Storyteller as responsible for the personal information. The personal information you provide will be used to ensure deliveries to you. The information you provide is only available to Storyteller and will not be shared with other third parties. You have the right to inspect the information held about you. You always have the right to request Storyteller to delete or correct the information held about you. By accepting the Storyteller Conditions, you agree to the above.
Force Majeure
Events outside Storyteller’s control, which is not reasonably foreseeable, shall be considered force majeure, meaning that Storyteller is released from it’s obligations to fulfill contractual agreements. Example of such events are government action or omission, new or amended legislation, conflict, embargo, fire or flood, sabotage, accident, war, natural disasters, strikes or lack of delivery from suppliers. The force majeure also includes government decisions that affect the market negatively and products, for example, restrictions, warnings, ban, etc.
Local Taxes
Please note that local charges (sales tax, customs duty) may occur, depending on your region and local customs duties. These charges are at the customers’ own expense.
Third-Party Sites
Our Sites may contain hyper-links to websites operated by third parties. Storyteller does not control such sites, and your use or link thereto is at your own risk.
Feedback
You represent, covenant and warrant that you have the right and/or license to submit any materials, submissions or other content you provide to or through the site, including without limitation feedback on the features and quality of Storytellers products (“Feedback”).
You agree and acknowledge that Storyteller may use or not use such Feedback in its sole discretion and, to the extent necessary, you hereby grant to Storyteller a perpetual, irrevocable, right and license to copy, modify, distribute and display and perform the Feedback for any and all purposes.
Intellectual Property
The entire content of the Site, including all design, copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights it contains, is the sole property of Storyteller. You may store, print and display the content supplied solely for your own personal use. You are not permitted to publish, manipulate, distribute or otherwise reproduce, in any format, any of the content or copies of the content supplied to you or which appears on the Site nor may you use any such content in connection with any business or commercial enterprise.
Promotion and Offer Codes
To redeem a promotion or offer code ("Code"), insert the Code in the "Voucher / Offer Code" box on the Shopping Bag page of the Site and click "Update". If valid, the Code will be applied.
In addition to any Code specific terms and conditions, the following conditions apply to all Codes:
- Only one code can be used per Order
- Codes can only be applied to full price items (Codes cannot be applied to sale items)
- Codes are non-transferrable and no cash alternative is available
- Orders must be made prior to 23:59 GMT on the closing or expiry date of the Code (if one is specified)
- All offers and promotions are dependent on stock availability
- Offer codes and promotions may be amended or removed at any time
Cookies
Storyteller uses cookies according to the new Electronic Communications Act, which came into force on 25 July 2003. A cookie is a small text file stored on your computer that contains information that helps the website to identify and track the visitor. Cookies do no harm to your computer, consist only of text, can not contain viruses and occupies virtually no space on your hard drive. There are two types of cookies: "Session Cookies" and cookies that are saved permanently on your computer.

During the time you visit the website, our web server assigns your browser a unique identifier string so as not to confuse you with other visitors. The second type of cookie saves a file permanently on your computer. This type of cookie is used to track how visitors move around on the website. This is only used to offer visitors better services and support. The text files can be deleted. We use this type of cookie to keep track of your shopping cart and to keep statistics of our visitors. The information stored on your computer is only a unique number, without any connection to personal information.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, claim, or other controversy arising out of these Terms, the Sites or your purchase of Products (“Dispute”) between you and Storyteller, each of us shall first attempt to resolve the Dispute directly with the other party. We will try and solve any disagreements quickly, fairly and efficiently. However, if you are not happy with the way that we deal with any disagreement and you want to begin court proceedings, you must do this within the United Kingdom.
A person who is not a party to a Contract is not entitled to enforce any of its terms (including these Terms of Sale) under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy can be found here. By consenting to these Terms of Sale, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms of our Privacy Policy, which may be updated from time to time. Please read our Privacy Policy carefully.
Disclaimers
Except for limited warranty above, we hereby disclaim any warranties of fitness for purpose, quiet enjoyment or non-infringement. Any warranties arising out of course of dealing or certifications of accuracy, completeness or timelines. Storyteller makes no warranty that site will be error free, secure or uninterrupted.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall storyteller be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, damages. Even if Storyteller has advised of the possibility of this under contract, negligence or other theory if it is linked in connection with the use, inability to use appropriately product and materials available from this website. The above limitations are only in places that allow the same by law.
Liability
We only supply the Products for domestic and private use. If you use the Products for any commercial, business or re-sale purpose we will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
General
Failure by Storyteller to enforce any of its rights hereunder shall not be construed as a waiver unless in a signed writing. Headings for these Terms are for convenience only and do not limit or otherwise change a provision’s meaning. These Terms constitute the entire agreement and understanding with respect to your use of the Sites and purchase of Products. No action against Storyteller may be initiated more than one year from the date of accrual of such cause of action.
